Iran, Malaysia to ink agreement on IT cooperation
Tehran, Feb 18, IRNA - Iran's Telecommunications Research Center will sign a memorandum of understanding with the Malaysian National University by February 18, said the deputy minister of communications and information technology for international affairs.
Talking to IRNA on Tuesday, Kamal Mahamedpour added that draft of the
agreement has already been reviewed and rectified by Iranian experts.
The agreement will help implement joint projects in the field of
information technology, he noted.
He added that undertaking joint information technology projects and
training experts are among the pivots of the accord.
The agreement will also enable Iranian experts to continue their
studies at the doctoral level in the Malaysian National University, he
said.
Mahamedpour also pointed out that using Malaysia?s capabilities in the
fields of software and its applications in establishing an electronic
government is another objective of the accord.
The agreement will be in force for three year.
