Vietnam, Laos boost sports cooperation
Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam and Laos signed four components as part of their 2007-2009 sports cooperation agreement in Hanoi on Feb. 16.
Under the deals, inked by Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh
and President of the Lao National Sports Committee Phouthong Seng Akhom, the two
sides will exchange experts and officials from learn each other's sports
management and development experiences.
Vietnam will continue to assist Laos in building its National Sports Training
Centre and send coaches to the neighbouring country to train athletes in several
sports events in preparation for the upcoming 25 th Southeast Asian Games (SEA
Games).
The two sides will jointly organise training courses for referees, coaches and
athletes as well as encourage the business cooperation in providing
