Iran-Belarus sign cooperation MoU

Minsk, Feb 17, IRNA - Iran and Belarus signed a Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU) on
economic, trade and custom cooperation here Monday.

Iran's Commerce Minister Masoud Mir-Kazemi and Belarusian Minister of
Industry Anatoly Rusetsky signed MoU in Minsk.
By signing the MoU, cooperation between Tehran and Minsk in economic,
trade and custom fields will further expand, Public Relations office
of Commerce Ministry said in its report.
According to the report, Mir-Kazemi also discussed issues of mutual
interest with Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky in a separate
meeting here.
In the meeting, the two sides discussed ways for banking and monetary
exchanges , considered issues related to car tariff, establishment of
joint companies to attend international tenders and other issues.
Iran's commerce minister also paid a visit to Trade Capital Bank which
was established by a joint investment as well as MAZ Company, which
produces heavy and semi-heavy vehicles for transportation.
In his trip to Belarus, Iran's Commerce Minister is accompanied by 70
Iranian businessmen from private sector.
