Yemen, AI discuss women condition in Yemen
SANA'A, Feb. 16 (Saba) - Yemen and Amnesty International (AI) discussed here on Monday several issues related to women as well as their participation in the development process.

Human Rights Minister Huda al-Ban reviewed with a delegation from AI, Yemen's
efforts in collaboration with the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and the
concerned international organizations to spread the social awareness of the women's
constitutional and lawful rights in different areas.
The Minister pointed out the roles of ministry in field of receiving complaints
related to women's rights violations and its endeavors towards woman issues,
particularly in girl education and the obstacles assist in expanding the education
gender gap.
Al-Ban called on all governmental and non-governmental bodies to work on promoting
Yemeni woman's role in different areas.
