Yemen delays Iranians' trial
SANA'A, Feb. 16 (Saba) - The Specialized Penal Court has delayed the trial of 11 Iranians accused of trafficking drugs into Yemen for two weeks.
The court made the decision for prosecution to provide evidence against the accused.
At the session chaired by judge Ridhwan al-Namir, the Iranians faced accusations of
trafficking over a ton of cannabis into Yemen last year.
The hashish was brought on a boat that came from the Iranian port of Konark.
The accused also face charges related to entering the country territorial waters
illegally.
