Jaafari To Czech Prime Minister: No War Has Been Lined By All The Countries Of The World As Happened In Iraq

Baghdad, Iraq (NINA) - "There is no war in the world where all the countries of the world are lined up, as happened today in Iraq," Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari said.
Jaafari said during a meeting with Czech Prime Minister, Bohuslav Sobotka at his residence in Baghdad on Sunday, according to ministry statement: "Everyone stood with us either through the international coalition or from outside, such as Iran, Russia and China," calling on the world to continue to support Iraq and contribute to the reconstruction of infrastructure of Iraqi cities and the return of families to their areas.
He added: "Iraq has faced a third world war represented by the war against Daesh terrorist gangs that targeted the markets, hospitals, schools, universities, mosques, churches, temples and every aspect of life, but Iraq defeat the terror by the unity of its people and armed forces of all types of army, police, popular mobilization, clans and Peshmerga, with political forces' support, and its unity as well as support of friendly countries."
During the meeting, al-Jaafari expressed thanks and appreciation for the Czech positions to support Iraq, train the armed forces and the police and the participation of Czech aircraft in striking terrorist sites, in addition to receiving a number of wounded Iraqi forces and supporting Iraq in international forums.
"The Foreign Ministry is ready to provide support for the success of the work of the diplomatic mission of the Czech Republic and to overcome obstacles to the signing of agreements between Baghdad and Prague in all fields," he said, calling on the Czech Republic to open consulates in Basra and Najaf because they have a significant impact on the opening of prospects for investment and increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries. "
For his part, the Prime Minister of Czech said: "One of the constants of our foreign policy to support Iraq and stand by His side and support Him in many areas, and we are pleased with the victories achieved in Iraq and we will continue to support Iraq until the elimination of terrorism and contribute to the reconstruction of Iraqi cities," stressing: "The relations between Iraq and Czech are strong relations and we seek to develop them in the interests of the two friendly peoples, "looking forward to the signing of agreements between the two countries, especially with the desire of Czech companies to invest in Iraq.
