Japan intends to establish new liquefied gas project in Yemen

SANA'A, Feb. 15 (Saba) - Director General of Japanese Liquefied
Natural Gas Foundation expressed on Sunday his company's desire to
establish a new Yemeni liquefied gas project for exporting abroad.

During his meeting with Deputy Minister of Oil and Minerals Ahmed
Dareas, the company Director General voiced his company's interest
to invest in the areas of petroleum exploration and production as
well as seismic surveys for oil services.

The minister pointed out to the investment opportunities at the oil
sector in Yemen, calling on the Japanese companies to take advantage
from such opportunities.
