Turkmenistan to supply 10b cu.m of gas to Iran

Tehran, Feb 15, IRNA -

Oil Minister Gholamhossein Nozari annouced here Saturday that some
ten billion cubic meters of gas from Turkmenistan's Yolton Gasfield
will be supplied to Iran based on an agreement signed by the two
countries.

Talking to reporters after seeing off Turkmen President Kurbanguly
Berdymukhamedev, he added that the deal was signed during his visit to
Tehran.

Based on the deal, Yolton Gasfield will be developed by Iranian
companies and in return Iran will receive ten billion cubic meters of
gas from the field each year.
