Mutual Memoranda Signed Between Iraq And Japan To Rehabilitate Thermal Hartha Station

Baghdad, Iraq (NINA) - Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi patronized the signing ceremony of the mutual memoranda between Iraq and Japan to rehabilitate the thermal hartha station.
"Under the patronage of Prime Minister, Haidar al-Abadi, mutual memoranda between Iraq and Japan to rehabilitate the thermal station of Hartha were signed for the (phase II) in the province of Basra at a cost of 195 million dollars," a statement from the Abadi's office said.
Maher Hammad, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance signed by the Iraqi side, and Japanese Ambassador to Iraq Fumio Iwai for the Japanese side.
The meeting was preceded by a meeting between the Prime Minister, Haider Al-Abadi with the Japanese Ambassador and his accompanying delegation, where the Japanese Ambassador conveyed the blessing of Japan to the victories achieved on Daesh.
The Japanese ambassador confirmed his country's support for Iraq in the post-Daesh stage, and rehabilitate the infrastructure, training projects and job creation as well as energy and financial management projects./ End
