Piracy to top agenda of Yemeni-Djiboutian Committee

SANA'A, Feb. 10 (Saba) - Piracy is to be at the top of the agenda of
the preparatory meeting of the Yemeni-Djiboutian Ministerial
Committee which will start next Thursday in the Djiboutian capital,
Djibouti.

The meeting would be chaired jointly by Foreign minister Abu Bakr
al-Qirbi and his Djiboutian counterpart Mahmoud Ali Yousuf.

Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, head of
the Yemeni side at the meeting Hisham Sharaf said the meeting will
discuss the bilateral relationship in light of the latest regional
developments, mainly coordination on the fight on piracy.

The meeting will also deal with several cooperation documents in
various fields including trade exchange, investment, agriculture,
fisheries, maritime piracy, minerals, health, tourism, security and
higher education.

Topics to be discussed at the meeting would be submitted to the
joint ministerial committee which will hold a meeting next Saturday,
Sharaf said.
