IRANIAN EMBASSY MARKS 30th ANNIVERSARY OF ISLAMIC REVOLUTION

Baku, February 10 (AzerTAc). Iran`s embassy to Azerbaijan has organized an official
reception to mark the 30th anniversary of the Iranian Islamic revolution.
Opening the event, Ambassador Nasir Hamidi Zare covered progress his country made
since the revolution.
He also touched upon Azerbaijan-Iran relations, expressing satisfaction with the
level of their development. Speaking to the event, first vice speaker of
Azerbaijan`s Parliament Ziyafet Asgarov congratulated the people of Iran on behalf
of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The event brought together Azerbaijani parliamentarians, ambassadors of foreign
countries and representatives of international organizations.
