Bahrain's Foreign Minister Visits Turkey Tomorrow

BAGHDAD, Iraq (NINA) - Bahrain's Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed al-Khalifa will visit Turkey on Saturday and meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish foreign ministry said. The ministry did not mention further details on the Bahraini minister's meeting with Erdogan, but the two sides are expected to discuss the latest developments in the region in light of the Gulf crisis. Bahrain joined Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and other countries last Monday cut diplomatic ties with Qatar, accusing Doha of supporting terrorism and interfering in Bahrain's internal affairs.
