PSSI Sells Tickets For Indonesia-Perto Rico Match

JAKARTA, June 1 (Antara) - The All-Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) has started the online sale of tickets on Thursday (June 1) before the match between the soccer teams of Indonesia and Puerto Rico. The match between the under-22 Indonesian soccer team (Timnas U-22) and Puerto Rico's squad will be held at Maguwoharjo stadium in Sleman, Yogyakarta, on Tuesday (June 13, 2017), according to the PSSI's statement received here on Thursday. Prices for 25 thousand tickets on sale range from Rp100 thousand for the western tribune, Rp35 thousand for the east tribune, and Rp30 thousand for the north tribune of the stadium. Prior to playing against Puerto Rico, the Timnas U-22 will face Cambodia's team on June 8 in Phnom Penh. It will be an opportunity for the Timnas U-22 to move up from its current 177th position in the FIFA rankings, Bima Sakti, assistant to chief coach stated recently. The Timnas is ranked far below Puerto Rico, which is at the 134th position, while Cambodia is at the 175th position. In preparing to face Cambodia and Puerto Rico, the Timnas coach Luis Milla will likely seek five or more senior players to strengthen the squad, Sakti stated in Tangerang, Banten Province, on Wednesday (May 10), adding it was up to Milla to choose the senior players.
