PM: Parliamentary elections will be held in the fixed time

SANA'A, Feb. 09 (Saba)- Prime Minister Ali Mujawar affirmed on
Sunday that the coming parliamentary elections will take place in
the scheduled time, April 27, 2009, and that the General People's
Congress will not accept any threatening and will also not provide
more concession to the Joint Meeting Parties.

Mujawar called on the opposition to respect the will of people and
that 84 of the voters belong to no party.

He made clear that the results of the recent local elections were
due to the threatening methods done by the Joint Meeting Parties,
emphasizing that the JMP is not the only responsible for the
democratic process.

In an interview with the Al-Mithaq paper, Mujawar warned against
harming the national absolutes and security and stability of the
country.

He referred that all Yemeni should get together to fight terrorists
who still affecting the national economy.

Mujawar affirmed that 95% of military retiree cases have been
settled at an amount of $50 billion.
