British scientific mission documents Yemen sea history
SANA'A, Feb. 08 (Saba)- A British scientific mission of Exeter
University has started an extended study over the Yemeni maritime
heritage and the history of navigation in Yemen.
Chairman of Antiquities Organization Abdullah Ba-Wazir told 26
sep.net that the British mission had started works in Aden
governorate and it will visit, during its works, a number of coastal
areas such as Mocha, Khawkha, Kamaran and al-Salif.
He noted that the mission will also met with a number of Yemeni
historians and researchers.
