German language to be included in Yemeni schools

ADEN, Feb. 08 (Saba) - Aden University rector Dr. Abdul Aziz Saleh
Bin Habtoor held talks on Sunday with German House director in Aden
and German language official in school initiative "Future Partners"
over boosting scientific relations between Aden University and
German educational institutions.

The meeting focused on the importance of Yemeni students to get
advantage from opportunities of studying German language according
to the Memo of Understanding (MOU) schools initiative for German
language learning, "Future Partners" which was approved by Ministry
of Education with German embassy in Sana'a in 2005.

The meeting also discussed level of implementation of the agreement
between the Ministry of Education and German embassy in Sana'a on
including German language in Yemeni schools, and exerted efforts to
establish German language section in Art College of Aden University.

German language official in schools initiative "Future Partners"
pointed out to the importance of completing applying the remained
articles of the signed agreement, MOU between the ministry and
German embassy in Sana'a about including German language in Yemeni
schools and to put it into effect to make use of the German
financial donation provided to qualify 25 Yemeni teachers in Gotten
Institute in Cairo.
