International Conference To Confirm Speech Of Tolerance And Moderation

BAGHDAD, Iraq (NINA) - The head of Arab Journalists Federation, head of Iraqi Journalists Syndicate Muayad al-Lami and Sheikh of Azhar Ahmed al-Tayeb have agreed to hold an international conference to confirm the speech of tolerance and moderation. "The conference will be held in the Egyptian capital Cairo at a time that has not yet been decided," Lami told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA). "The conference will be attended by Islamic and religious figures and figures from different countries of the world." He added. Al-Lami explained that "the participants in the conference will discuss the moderate thought and consolidate it and lay the foundations and mechanisms to fight extremist ideology religiously and informally."/ End
