Foreign women reporters attend Islamic Revolution celebrations
Tehran, Feb 7, IRNA - A group of women reporters will arrive in Tehran on Sunday to attend
the celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of Islamic Revolution.
They will get acquainted with achievements of Islamic Republic of Iran
in different fields of science, technology, culture and especially
issues concerning women in Iran.
Women active in the field of media will stay in Iran for a week.
Their host will be ? Islamic Thought Foundation? .
The visiting reporters are from newsapers and news agencies in
Britain, Saudi Arabia, Croatia, Algeria, Kenya, Indonesia, Morocco,
Japan, Tajikistan and Malaysia.
TV crews from South Africa, India and Malaysia also cover the celebrations.
They will also attend women gathering here in Tehran and visit
newspapers, Research center of Islamic Free University, an industrial
complex in southern area of Assalouyeh as well as Iran TV.
The foreign media group will also meet with parliament speaker,
foreign minister, head of organization of culture and Islamic
communication, head of women cultural-social council.
The visiting group will visit late Imam ?s house and talk with his
daughter Dr. Zahra Mostafavi.
