Turkish FM to convey presidential letter to Saleh

SANA'A, Feb. 05 (Saba) - Well-informed diplomatic sources affirmed
on Thursday that the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Babacan
is to convey a letter to President Ali Abdullah Saleh from the
President of Turkey Abdullah Gul soon.

The Turkish Minister will arrive to Sana'a on February 17th in a
state visit to the country for two days, the sources told the weekly
26 September.

The letter will deal with the last developments in the region,
especially in Palestine, role as well as the cooperation relations
between Yemen and Turkey.

During the visit, Babacan will hold talks with the Foreign Minister
Abu Bakr al-Qirbi on the Turkish role as a suggested country in the
Yemeni initiative to resume dialogue between Fatah and Hamas,
according to the sources.

The talks will coordinate attitudes between the two countries in the
Organization of the Islamic Conference.
