Interior Minister Receives Azerbaijani Ambassador To Iraq

Baghdad (NINA) - Iraqi Interior Minister Qassim al-Araji discussed with the Azerbaijani ambassador to Iraq Ramez Ghafarov the security situation between the two countries and ways to strengthen relations between them and develop them in the interest of the two friendly peoples. The minister stressed the necessity of concerted international efforts to fight terrorism and achieve international peace and security, stressing the need to support Iraq in fighting terrorism. For his part, the Azerbaijani ambassador stressed his government's keenness on the security and stability of Iraq. / End
