Russian military, technical cooperation with Iran transparent

Anatoly Isaikin said Russian technical and military cooperation with
Iran is completely transparent and legal.

In an interview with Russian newspaper ? Nezavisimaya Gazeta ? on
Wednesday about possibility of selling missile and aerial defense
system of ? S-300? to Iran, Isaikin said ? If President Medvedev and
his government decide on this issue, the company is obliged to
implement it."
He added delivering weapons to Iran is completely transparent and upon
Russian laws and regulations.
Replying to a question concerning the US and Israeli claims that
delivering ? S-300 ? missiles to Iran will disturb balance of power in
the region and may cause war, the Russian official said Russian weapon
export is totally calculated and selling Russian weapons to different
countries will never disturb balance of power and Russia never exports
prohibited weapons.
Russia exported around 8 billion dollars of weapons and military
equipment to different countries in the year 2008.
Russia Abaronexport Company is an state company working in weapon
export field.
