Amal Al Qubaisi invites Mongolian businessmen for investment discussion

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia M.Enkhbold met with the President of the Federal National Assembly of the United Arab Emirates Amal Al Qubaisi, on the sidelines of the 136th IPU Assembly, which is being held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Recalling his visit to Abu Dhabi from three months ago, when the two dignitaries signed the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the legislatures, and the attendance of the Mongolian Minister of Justice and Home Affairs in the 15th Dialogue on Asian Nations’ Foreign Policy, organized by the UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs, Chairman M.Enkhbold said that the events represent the activation of bilateral ties. Parliament Speaker Enkhbold asked his counterpart Al Qubaisi to study the possibility of sending a team to Mongolia to learn opporrunities to make investments into Mongolia through other sectors than mining. He also reaffirmed the invitation for Ms Al Qubaisi to visit Mongolia and said that her visit will become an important step toward upgrading the bilateral ties. Speaker M.Enkhbold assured that Mongolia will be sending a delegation to take part in the Expo 2020. He also asked the UAE side for a response to Mongolia’s proposal for jointly implementing a major project. Ms Al Qubaisi said “We highly recognize the efforts by the Chairman of Mongolia’s State Great Khural for expanding and making more effective the bilateral ties between our countires” and promised to personally focus on increasing the investment to Mongolia and to give tasks to minister for economy and other related officials. She invited Mongolian businessmen to have talks with the UAE investors. “I have no doubt in the deepening of our friendly relations and cooperation, based on mutual trust”, noted Ms Al Qubaisi.
