New Delhi, Feb 4 (PTI) Ending 34 years of nuclear
isolation, India Wednesday signed its first commercial

Areva.

Initially, Areva is expected to supply two European
Pressurised Reactors (EPR) of 1650 MW each which are likely to
be set up at Jaitapur in western state of Maharashtra.

The MoU was signed by officials of the Nuclear Power
Corporation of India Limited and Areva in the presence of
Minister of State in PMO Prithviraj Chavan and visiting French
Minister of State for Foreign Trade Anne Marie Idrac.

Chavan announced that Areva will set up a nuclear park
