Conference on freedom of expression and abuse of religions to be

SANA'A, Feb. 03 (Saba)- Ministry of Endowments and Guidance is
organizing in cooperation with the Islamic League of Islamic World
an international conference on contemporary media between freedom of
expression and abuse of religions for period from 7th to 9th
February in Sana'a.

Organizers at the ministry told Saba that the objectives of the
conference are to clarify media concepts and its goals, tasks and
methods to support values of justice and peace.

The conference also aims to enhance the areas of cultural dialogue
between Muslims media men and the international media institutions
in order to work together in the service of such values.

It is scheduled that the conference would also discuss topic
associated with impacts of freedom of expressions on society and
role of the media to correct wrong ideas about Islam in addition to
responsibility of the governments and international organizations to
prevent abuse of religions.
