Yemen, OFID sign $18 mln loan agreement

VIENNA, Feb. 03 (Saba)-Yemen and OPEC Fund for International
Development (OFID) signed on Tuesday a loan agreement at sum of $ 18
million to fund a project of public works.

The agreement was signed by Yemeni ambassadors to Vienna Ahmed
al-Alwan and director of the fund Suliman al-Harbashi.

Al-Alwan valued support for the OPEC fund for the development
process in Yemen, wishing continuing support for the fund for Yemen
through easy credits.

The OPEC fund director expressed concern of the fund to support
efforts of the country to implement development projects by offering
easier loan, highlighting level of the cooperation between the fund
and Yemen.
