Abadi Meets US House Speaker

BAGHDAD / (NINA) -22-March / Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi met, at the US House of Representatives, House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the situation and the relations between the two countries, and the conduct of the battle to liberate Mosul and restore stability and displaced people to the liberated areas and international support for Iraq in the war against terrorism, in addition to the economic and financial situation in Iraq. Ryan congratulated Abadi for the victories on the terrorist gangs, praising the Iraqis' contribution in their war against Daash.
