Interior Minister Meets Iran's Ambassador To Baghdad

BAGHDAD / NINA / Interior Minister Qasim al-Araji stressed the importance of the constructive cooperation among the regional neighboring countries of Iraq and unify efforts to cooperate to fight terrorism. According to an Interior Ministry statement "al-Araji received, yesterday evening, the Iranian Ambassador Hassan Dnaiefar, and discussed with him the overall security situation, reviewing the victories achieved by the Interior Ministry forces and all security and military formations against Daesh. Interior Minister stressed the importance of constructive cooperation among the regional neighboring countries of Iraq and unify efforts to cooperate to fight terrorism, which threatens world peace, praising the efforts of friends and brothers that have contributed to support Iraq in its war. For his part, the Iranian ambassador confirmed his country's keenness on the security and stability of Iraq, stressing that Iran will support Iraq on different levels. / End
