Sana`a, Jakarta universities discuss academic cooperation

SANA'A, Feb. 02 (Saba)- Rector of Sana'a University Khaled Tomim
held a meeting on Monday with the Indonesian academic delegation
headed by rector of Jakarta University Jajo Sajanto over academic
cooperation between the two universities.

Tomim reviewed in the meeting activities of Sana'a University and
fields of studies, voicing desire of the university to enhance
cooperation with Jakarta University especially in fields of Islamic
studies and Arabic, medicine, geometric and sport education.

The rector of Jakarta University affirmed concern of the university
to boost its ties with Sana'a University, saying that such ties
would contribute to enhance bilateral relations between Yemen and
Indonesia.

It is scheduled that the Indonesian delegation would sign an
agreement of opening sector of Indonesian language in Sana'a
University and organizing visits for Yemeni students to Jakarta
University.
