Three Ministers Attend Gala Dinner Rehearsal of IORA Summit

JAKARTA, IORA – Three Ministers of Indonesian Working Cabinet attended a state banquet rehearsal where the heads Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) member states will be served with Gala Dinner at Plenary Hall, the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on Sunday (3/5). They were Coordinating Economic Minister Darmin Nasution, Foreign Affairs Minister Retno Marsudi and State Secretary M. Pratikno. The Ministers of Working Cabinet enjoyed an orchestra performed by Twilight Orchestra featuring Addie MS and angklung art performance by Saung Udjo Bandung that played local traditional songs including Angin Mamiri and Poco-poco. State Secretary M. Pratikno admitted that the preparation for the Gala Dinner had almost finished, only a number of minor details to be added in order to fascinate the honourable heads of state. “The preparation has already reached 95 to 96%, we just need to add some finishing,” said M. Pratikno before leaving the JCC to report President Joko Widodo related to the preparation for IORA Summit. Pratikno is optimistic that the organization of IORA Summit will run smoothly. The government’s frequent successful experiences in organizing many meetings for heads of state is one of the factors to the success of this event. “This summit will not be as large as the Asian-African Conference, we have frequent experiences in organizing such conferences,” Pratikno ended.
