Al-Assad hails Yemeni initiative for Palestinian reconciliation

DAMASCUS, Feb. 02 (Saba) - The Syrian presidential advisor for
Political and Media affairs Dr. Bouthaina Shaaban affirmed on Monday
the welcome of the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to the Yemeni
initiative for the Palestinian reconciliation.

During her meeting with the Yemen ambassador to Syria Abdul Wahab
Tawaf, Shaaban voiced the President al-Assad's appreciation with the
Yemeni efforts to support the Palestinian people.

During the meeting the two officials discussed efforts of the two
countries in supporting the Palestinian people and achieving the
reconciliation between the brotherly parties in Palestine.

They also reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries
in various areas and ways of enhancing them.
