30 suspects arrested in ten days



SANA'A, Feb. 01 (Saba) – The Ministry of Interior has announced five
wanted suspects were arrested in the provinces of al-Baidha'a and
Taiz.

The Saturday's arrests, which came within a nationwide
anti-terrorism campaign, bring the total number of wanted suspects
arrested in the last ten days to 30.

Three of the five were seized in the district of Rada'a,
al-Baidha'a, with their Kalashnikovs after they escaped from Shabwa
province where security has been tightened.

The other two were held in the Taizia area, Taiz.

The five are wanted in connection with various security charges and
terrorism.

The security forces arrested in ten days almost 30 wanted suspects
throughout all provinces within an intensified campaign aiming to
hunt al-Qaeda suspects.

Two days ago, security forces announced they had arrested five
wanted criminals in Marib and Sana'a.
