Interior ministry chases nearly 4,000 wanted persons

SANA'A, Feb. 01 (Saba)- Minister of Interior Rashad al-Masri said on
Sunday that the ministry would chase nearly 4,000 wanted persons
across the country within its security plan, media center of the
ministry reported.

Last year, the ministry arrested 6014 wanted persons in different
security issues, the minister said, the ministry would continue its
efforts this year as well to arrest wanted peoples in order to
enhance security and stability of the nation.

The ministry has announced five wanted suspects were arrested in the
provinces of al-Baidha'a and Taiz. The Saturday's arrests, which
came within a nationwide anti-terrorism campaign, bring the total
number of wanted suspects arrested in the last ten days to 30.
