Khalid Mashal arrives in Iran
Tehran, Feb 1, IRNA - Hamas Political Bureau chief Khalid Mashal arrived here on Sunday
heading a delegation to hold talks with senior Iranian officials on
major regional and international issues.
He is also here to convey the gratitude of the Palestinians, Gazans in
particular, to their fellow Iranians for their spiritual supports for
the Palesitnian resistance against the Israeli occupiers.
Mashal?s visit is considered highly important due to the recent
developments occurred in the region following the Zionist regime?s
22-day-long carnage in the Gaza Strip which left over 1,300 dead and
around 5,000 injured mostly defenseless women and children.
While in Tehran, Mashal will also deliver a speech at Tehran
University and attend a session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly
(Majlis) on Tuesday in addition to holding separate meetings with
senior Iranian officials.
