Haniyeh sends message to Supreme Leader

Tehran, Feb 1, IRNA, -- In a message to the Supreme Leader of the
Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei , the Prime Minister
of the legal government of Palestine in Gaza, Ismail Haniyeh thanked
him and the Iranian nation for their brave and generous help to the
Palestinian resistance in Gaza.

The full text of the message is as follows:
"In the Name of God,
Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran,
On behalf of the government and people of Palestine, and on behalf of
the injured but victorious Gaza, it is an honor for me to thank you
for your brave, distinguished and brave stances which were a
manifestation of the great leadership of Islamic Iran and the great
nation of Iran.
Your words and messages before the attack to Gaza and during the hard
days of war, inspired dignity, freedom seeking and resistance among
the people of Gaza and the resistance forces and helped them in their
struggle against the enemy.
Under your responsible guidelines, the Islamic Republic, in all
possible fields, especially in Doha Summit, played an active role in a
way that helped our helpless people and created a new hope among the
Palestinians.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, with its support in different fields,
helped the resistance of the Palestinians. The victory of the people
of Gaza in the war was the second victory of the Islamic resistance
after the war in the south of Lebanon. May the Almighty God bless your
Excellency and the Iranian nation for your assistance and support.
Under your leadership, the Iranian nation has done a lot to support
the people of Palestine. These efforts are an honor for us and we
appreciate them.
People of Palestine, especially people of Gaza are still in need of
your political and non-political support for the reconstruction works
and overcoming the difficulties created by the enemy.
The Palestinian nation needs a free and honorable life without
invasion and blockade so that it can materialize its real power and
dignity. Realization of this objective, needs, in addition to the God
blessings, the continuation of your help and the help of Iranian
Muslim nation to our confrontation with the brutal government of
America and the criminal regime of Israel.
