Quntar: Lebanese, Palestinian success owes to Islamic Revolution

Tehran, Feb 1, IRNA - Lebanese freed prisoner of war Samir Quntar said that Lebanese and Palestinian resistance owe their victory to Iran's Islamic Revolution.

In a meeting here in Tehran University on Saturday dubbed as ? In
Honor of Freedom?, Quntar , who spent 30 years in the Zionist regime
prisons, told basiji students that the Islamic Revolution has been the
root cause of all these moves in the past years, so I recommend you to
commit yourself to the Islamic regime and its supreme leader.
He said that the young generation who are studying in the universities
know that how their fathers tolerated difficulties to achieve such a
sacred Islamic system.

Abdulkarim Obeyed , another freed PoW, was the next speaker who
congratulated students on the 30th anniversary of Islamic Revolution
victory in Iran.

He pointed out Gaza war was a test and continued we had been waiting
for a new war with Israel since the end of war in 2006.
Obeyed said that the number of Mujaheddin, fighters as well as weapons
have increased many times and supporters of Islamic resistance as
such, and by God willing we will achieve a great victory.

Mustafa Dayrani another PoW who spent 10 years in Israeli prisons said
that the world had turned into two parts of ? bad? and ? good? and
added in such a sensitive period we must underline more protection for
Islamic revolution achievements.
