Selection For Women Soccer Team For AFF Cup In March

JAKARTA, Feb 9 (Antara) - The selection for the national women soccer team for the AFF Cup 2017 will be held from March 8 to 16, according to Papat Yunisal, an executive committee member of the All Indonesia Football Association (PSSI). "March 8 is the International Women's Football Day. The selection location will either be Yogyakarta or Bandung. It will be decided this week," she stated on Thursday. The selection will be participated by eight associations that have competed in Pertiwi Cup 2014, such as Papua, Yogyakarta and East Java, Women's Military Corps (Kowad) and the Police Women unit, Papat stated, adding that the results of the selection will result in 25 soccer players between 18 and 28 years of age.
