Achievements Made at Stockbreeding Bases in DPRK

Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- Great achievements have been made at stockbreeding bases in the DPRK to put their production on a scientific basis. Farms under the Pyongyang Poultry Production Bureau and the Kwangpho Duck Farm and Hungju Chicken Farm remarkably increased their production by establishing a system for breeding poultry in a scientific manner. The Taedonggang Pig Farm established a system for breeding good species to save more feed and put the piglet production on a normal basis. And the integrated control system was set up there to put the livestock production on a scientific, IT and automated basis. The Sinuiju Chicken Farm succeeded in raising the effectiveness of essential amino acids for the growth and egg-laying of poultry. It also raised the protein content of bean cake by three times. The Hungju Chicken Farm started to produce urea protein fodder and sulphur-Kumgang medical stone activated addictive. -0-
