Foreign Minister Arrives To Belgrade

BAGHDAD / NINA / The Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari arrived to the Serbian capital Belgrade on an official visit of several days. A statement for the ministry said, "Jaafari arrived today to Serbia on an official visit of several days to meet with a number of Serbian officials in the context of strengthening bilateral relations and open up more prospects of joint cooperation to serve the interests of the two friendly peoples." The statement added, "It is hoped al-Jaafari meet with President of the Republic, foreign, trade, tourism, communications, interior and defense ministers, as well as to meet with the Iraqi community and Arab ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Belgrade" ./ end
