Action Program Issued by Asia-Pacific Regional Preparatory Committee

Pyongyang, January 18 (KCNA) -- The Asia-Pacific Regional Preparatory Committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu on Jan. 10 made public the following action program to glorify long the personalities and exploits of the great persons of Mt. Paektu and significantly greet the great international festival to be held in August this year. This year will mark the 105th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, the 75th birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il and the fifth anniversary of the election of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un to the top posts of the Party and state of the DPRK. We will hold colorful events praising the great persons of Mt. Paektu in regions and countries to display boundless reverence of the world progressives for them who made undying contributions to achieving global independence. We will dynamically wage solidarity activities in support of the just cause of the Korean people who are vigorously pushing forward the building of a reunified power true to the line for Korea's reunification set forth by the peerlessly great persons of Mt.
