President inspects Bani Husheish district

SANA'A, Jan. 28 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh paid Wednesday
a visit to Bani Husheish district here for inspecting people's conditions and
listening to their needs and demands.He directed concerned bodies to include
people's demands in the district local council's plan. He affirmed the role of the
local council in curing people issues and setting up plans for service and
development projects.
The president then visited the Republican Guards' 102 Infantry Brigade and inspected
conditions of the camp's affiliates. He was briefed on the ongoing training and
qualification programs. He praised high morality, fighting readiness and good
performance of the camp's affiliates.
He affirmed the country's leadership in continuing construction efforts and
enhancing defense and security capabilities. He clarified that the defense and
security institution will remain the safety valve of the revolution, the republic
and the unity.
