Iran, Senegal keen on investment agreement
Tehran, Jan 25, IRNA - The Iranian and Senegalese Ministers of Commerce on Saturday held talks on signing some agreements on banking, transportation, investment and customs cooperation.
In a meeting held in Tehran, Iranian Commerce Minister Masoud
Mir-Kazemi and his Senegalese counterpart Mamadou Diop stressed the
need for elevating trade relations between Iran and African nations,
including Senegal, in various issues.
The Iranian minister said in the meeting that Iran and Senegal can
boost mutual trade exchange in light of their potentials.
By holding meetings and exhibitions as well as exchanging trade
delegations, the private sectors in the two countries would get
familiar with each other which will bring about further economic
cooperation, Mir-Kazemi added.
For his part, Diop said his country is eager to develop cooperation with Iran.
He then referred to the two countries? considerable potentials for
economic relations and said the two states should pave ways for inking
an economic memorandum of understanding (MoU) in order to further
trade exchange.
