1st World Student UAV unveiled in Tehran

Tehran, Nov 22, IRNA – The first World Student Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) named Saher (wizard) was unveiled in Allameh Helli High School, Tehran. Deputy Head of Basij Organization Brigadier Ali Fazli and the Managing Director of Tehran Educational Headquarter Alireza Kamraie took part in the unveiling ceremony. Speaking in Basij Week commemoration ceremony, Fazli said that Saher is regarded as the first student's UAV which took 3 years to be finalized. Saher's missions consist of aerial imaging, environment controlling, fire and traffic controlling. The UAV can fly 1,900 km at 5,500 m altitude. 1378/IRNA
