Jalili: Iran, Iraq not to allow borders be used against others

Tehran, Jan 24, IRNA - Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said here Friday that Iran and Iraq should not let their borders be used for action against others.

?Borders of Iran and Iraq are borders of security and friendship; so,
the two sides will never allow any action taken through the borders
against another country; any terrorist action against another nation
will be confronted,? Jalili told a joint press conference with
visiting Iraqi National Security Advisor Muvafaq al-Rubai here on
Friday.

He said Iran is happy with upward security in Iraq and is ready to
share experience with Iraq in the security related issues, including
security education and formation of security bodies.

On resumption of the Iran-US relations after a 30-year cut regarding
presidency of Barack Obama, Jalili said, ?What is important for our
people and what is crucial is the kind of change that will take place
in present era. The so-called change should be made in action.?
