Gambian envoy says Iran is unique

Tehran, Jan 24, IRNA - Gambian Ambassador to Iran Lamin Kaba Bajo said Iran is a unique country among the Muslim states.

He made the remarks while talking to IRNA correspondent during his
visit to Ali Sadr Cave located about 70 kilometers north of the
western Iranian city of Hamedan.

He referred to the close economic ties between his country and Iran
and said the Islamic Republic of Iran is a great world power.

Talking on the US economic sanctions against Iran, the Gambian
ambassador said the sanctions have had no impact on the country.

He then said the pressures and sanctions would not pose any problem
for Iran due to its great military, political, cultural and economic
strengths.

Bajo welcomed boycotting Israeli commodities and said all Arab and
Muslim countries should impose ban on the Israeli goods.
