Yemen discusses joint cooperation with UAE, Tunisia
SANA'A, Jan. 21 (Saba) - Yemen discussed here on Wednesday with each
of United Arab Emirates and Tunisia means of activating joint
cooperation.
Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul Karim
al-Arhabi reviewed with the Emirate ambassador to Sana'a Abdullah
al-Mazrouei the current cooperation between the two brotherly
countries to serve the joint interests of the two countries.
Al-Arhabi appreciated the concern of United Arab Emirate leadership
to strengthen the joint cooperation with Yemen.
In return, al-Mazrouei asserted the UAE government is interested in
strengthening cooperation ties with Yemen.
On the other hand, al-Arhabi held an acquaintance meeting with the
Tunisian newly appointed ambassador to Sana'a Tawfiq Jaber.
The meeting discussed means of expanding cooperation frames between
the two countries, particularly in exchange trade volume and
experiences in cultural and scientific fields.
Al-Arhabi welcomed the Tunisian ambassador and emphasized the Yemeni
interest to strengthen the current and future cooperation with
Tunisia, assuring that the government would present all facilities
for the ambassador to carry out his mission in Yemen.
For his part, the Tunisian ambassador stressed on the significance
of enhancing cooperation between Yemen and Tunisia, pointing out
that arrangements are underway for the Tunisian businessmen
delegation' visit to Yemen to get closely acquainted with the
investment partnership's opportunities in Yemen.
