U.S. provides crime scene equipment to Yemen

SANA'A, Jan. 21 (Saba) - The United States is to provide Interior
Ministry with several equipment pertaining to the fingerprint system
and crime scene, U.S. Security official said here on Wednesday.

During his meeting with Deputy Interior Minister Saleh al-Zau'ari,
the Deputy Assistant Director-General of the U.S. Federal Bureau of
Investigation (FBI) Mr. James hailed the developed level of the
Yemeni security authorities in combating terrorism and organized
crime.

Mr. James highlighted the field achievements Yemen has made in
encountering the terrorism elements and foiling the plans to
undermine Yemen's security and stability.

He asserted his country's readiness to offer more technical support
to Yemen in fields of training and information exchange.

The Deputy Interior Minister Saleh al-Zau'ari praised assistance the
United States offered to security authorities to combat terrorism
and organized crime.
