New president of Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation appointed

Baku, Azerbaijan, Oct. 12 Trend: Javid Gurbanov, head of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, has been appointed new president of Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation, the country’s Ministry of Youth and Sports said in a message Oct. 12. The appointment was made at the meeting of the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan held Oct. 12. Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Azad Rahimov and other officials took part in the meeting. Earlier, Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation was headed by the country’s Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov.
