Dr. Al-Manea pointed out that the ministry is in need of 2000 family
doctors to achieve one doctor for one family.

On his part, the Director-General of the Executive Bureau of the
Council of Ministers of Health of the Gulf Cooperation Council and
the Chairman of the Scientific Committee, Dr Tawfiq bin Ahmed Khoja
said this symposium includes many of the important topics on the role
of Saudi practitioners in health development researches, enhancing
health systems strategies, and reducing medical errors and their role
in the society.

Dr. Othamn Al Rabeah, coordinator of the works of Council of Health
Services, pointed out in his speech that the council's role is to
coordinate and complement the various health sectors in order to
ensure the unity of the health system in terms of objectives and
visions, and the optimal use of health resources.
