2009 Plan of action`s cabinet approved

SANA'A, Jan. 20 (Saba)-Headed by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar, the
Cabinet approved on Tuesday its plan of action for this year, which
includes 367 subjects that would be discussed in the sessions of the
cabinet during the year.

According to the cabinet, the plan was based on electoral platform
of the president Ali Abdullah Saleh. The cabinet praised efforts of
the general secretariat of the cabinet in preparing the plan.

On the other hand, the cabinet agreed on a fundamental system for
the national center for educational evaluation, asking the Ministry
of legal Affairs to coordinate with concerned ministries to prepare
a draft law of setting up the center. It is scheduled that the
coming meeting of the cabinet would approve the draft.

The objective of the center is to assess the educational system in
the country to improve it to meet with the international standards

Moreover, the cabinet formed a committee to study current situation
of the domestic and private educational institutions in order to
tackle faults in accordance with the law No. 11/1999 associated with
the domestic education.
