Yemen, Britain review cooperation relation
SANA'A, Jan. 20 (Saba) - Yemen and Britain discussed here on Tuesday
cooperation aspects in political, economic, developmental and
security areas and the future mutual trends.
In a meeting gathered Prime Minister Ali Mujawar and Deputy Director
of Middle East Department at the UK Foreign Ministry Christian
Turner, the two sides dealt with the country's political
developments and the economical, financial and administrative
reforms' progress as well as efforts of combating corruption.
They also discussed the current cooperation between the two
countries in fighting against terrorism and the significance of
reinforcing the logistic British support to the country in this
regard.
Mujawar highlighted the underway arrangements for the upcoming
parliamentary elections, briefing the British official on the
economical and developmental challenges facing the government as a
result of decline of oil prices and its consequences on the general
budget.
For his part, the British official assured his country's
consideration to strengthen its ties with Yemen in different areas,
including development process, political and economical stability.
